Mars Court Tennis Park 2022
This is the first space-themed tennis court. It is a tennis court with eight
high-quality artificial grass courts, and there is also a clubhouse equipped with convenience facilities such as a lounge and a shower room.
With its attractive design, MarsCourt has become a tennis court sponsored by global brands such as Babolat and 7-Eleven.
I was commissioned to work on all the branding elements necessary for the concept, court design, facilities and marketing. MarsCourt is a tennis court located in a city called Hwasung in South Korea, which also means "Mars" in Korean. This point inspired me to make it a space themed tennis court.
"Mars Court" is spelled the same as the word 'Mascot' in Korean. Therefore, the name MarsCourt represents the name of the region, but it also intends to become a mascot in many tennis courts not only in Korea but also around the world.

Since MarsCourt is a tennis court where space is the theme, I named each court after planets in the solar system, instead just using numbers. I combined the image of a planet with a tennis ball.

Inspired by the colors of space, I designed the tennis court in purple and blue, which was the first time these colors were used on an artificial grass court in Korea.

Fluorescent green has also been widely used in various designs related to MarsCourt. The color was inspired by a fast-moving tennis ball on a tennis court which would look like a shooting star shining in dark black space.

Map and facility information boards were also designed in a unified color and style to enhance the design brand identity of the MarsCourt. In particular, facilities used by customers were marked with green outlines and facilities dedicated to staff were marked with purple outlines.

At the entrance of the court, there was a map of the court, various information, and a photo spot was created with the words 'Tennis Park'.
